Our organization is physician-based which means there is always a doctor available to see appropriate patients.

While the medical staff focuses on occupational healthcare, MED-1 Clinic Managers make sure operations and communications run smoothly. Physician Based Team

JB Gilleland, D.O.

Dr. Gilleland, DO, is the founder of the MED-1 System. He created this in 1984 with the intent to bring a more consumer-friendly focus to immediate care and to what was then called industrial medicine.

MED-1 was one of the first urgent care clinics in Michigan. Dr. Gilleland is board certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. He is the founder and managing partner of United Emergency Services, LLC; First Medical, LLC: Med Management, Inc., and Emergency Health Partners, LLC. He is also the founder and President of Event Horizon, LLC and CerteDrive, LLC (an online DOT medical program). He served for 25 years as the Project Medical Director for the Ottawa Medical Control Board Authority.

Dr. Gilleland is actively involved with MED-1 Occupational Health Services.

Julienne A. Little, DO

Julienne A. Little, DO, is a board-certified family medicine physician and the Medical Director for MED-1. Dr. Little earned her medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in East Lansing and completed her family practice residency at Chicago Osteopathic Hospital.

Dr. Little is a member of the American College of Occupational & Environmental Physicians and the American Osteopathic College of Occupational & Preventative Medicine. She also holds credentials as a Certified Medical Review Officer and an FMCSA National Registry Certified Medical Examiner. Dr. Little’s goal is to keep people functional so they can return to their home, family, and work as soon as possible.

Dr. Little has been working with MED-1 for over 30 years.

Robert Cali, MD

Following a BA Degree from Cornell University, Dr. Cali obtained his Medical Degree from State University of New York, Syracuse, NY.  He completed his internship and residency in General Surgery at Cleveland Clinic Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio, where he also served as Chief Resident.

Following Fellowships in Surgical Critical Care, Peripheral Vascular Surgery, and Endovascular Surgery, he served a year with the United States Public Health Services, South Dakota.  Dr. Cali has practiced in West Michigan since 1986 and joined MED-1 in January, 2022.  Dr. Cali has numerous professional publications and has been a frequent presenter at national medical educational events.  He holds credentials as an FMCSA National Registry Certified Medical Examiner.  He enjoys travel, biking, and woodworking.

A resident of the greater Grand Rapids area Dr. Cali enjoys the doctor:patient:employer communications so essential in occupational health.

Benjamin J. Eovaldi, DO

Benjamin J. Eovaldi, DO joined MED-1 in 2022 following his Preventive Medicine Residency at the University of Massachusetts, Worcester MA, where he served has Chief Resident.

His Certifications include Department of Transportation Medical Examiner, Certified Medical Review Officer, FMCSA National Registry Certified Medical Examiner, NIOSH Spirometry and CAOHC Occupational Hearing Conservationist.

Dr. Eovaldi served as an officer in the United States Air Force as a Flight Surgeon.  He is Board Certified in Preventive Medicine and Public Health by the American Board of Preventive Medicine.  Dr. Eovaldi is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Osteopathic Association.

He and his family reside in the Holland area.

Charles Feldt, DO

Charles Feldt, DO, is board certified in Family Medicine and Occupational Medicine. Dr. Feldt earned his medical degree at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri. He completed his family medicine residency at Muskegon General Hospital in Muskegon, Michigan.

Dr. Feldt holds credentials as a Certified Medical Review Officer, an FMCSA National Registry Certified Medical Examiner, and a Certified Occupational Hearing Conservationist Professional Supervisor by the Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation. He looks forward to working with companies in the Grand Rapids and Holland areas.

Dr. Feldt has been working in Occupational Medicine for 30 years.

Dan F. Kreuzer, DO

Dan F. Kreuzer, DO, earned his medical degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines, IA. He is a retired Navy Physician for the United States Navy. Dr. Kreuzer holds credentials as a Certified Medical Review Officer and FMCSA National Registry Certified Medical Examiner.

Nicole M. Lundy, DO

Nicole M Lundy, DO is a West Michigan native with a strong interest in both medicine and business.  

She grew up in Zeeland and attended Hope College graduating with degrees in biology and psychology.  She attended medical school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania.  Dr. Lundy then continued training in Emergency Medicine at Trinity Health Muskegon.

Dr. Lundy has been a part of MED-1 since 2017.  She holds credentials as a Certified Medical Review Officer and FMCSA National Registry Certified Medical Examiner.  In addition to her clinical work, Dr Lundy is nearing completion of her Masters in Public Health with a concentration on Occupational and Environmental Health from the University of Nebraska.  She is currently working on her capstone studying the relationship between body mass index and work place injuries.  Dr. Lundy has been inducted into the Gamma Omicron Chapter of Delta Omega Honorary Society in Public Health. 

Outside of work, Nicole loves to spend time outside hunting, golfing, and traveling. She and her husband, Ross, have identical twin girls who always keep life exciting.  They reside in Spring Lake, MI.

Nicolas J. Pietrangelo, DO

Nicolas J. Pietrangelo, DO, earned his medical degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his anesthesiology residency at Boston University Hospital. Dr. Pietrangelo is a member of the American Osteopathic Association and holds credentials as an FMCSA National Registry Certified Medical Examiner.

Marty joined MED-1 in 2017 as a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of Emergency Medicine experience as a FNP-BC.

Prior to his Masters of Science Degree in Nursing from Michigan State University, he had over 20  years practicing as a registered nurse in West Michigan hospitals.

He is a Department of Transportation Certified Medical Examiner and holds credentials as an FMCSA National Registry Certified Medical Examiner.  He has experience in acute trauma care.

Marty and his wife live in the Grand Haven area and enjoys vacationing, boating and riding motorcycles.

Jacueline Stewart, MS

Ms. Stewart joined MED-1 in 2022 as a Nurse Clinician.  Jacqueline launched her career first by obtaining an associate degree in Criminal Justice and then a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Maryland before completing a Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner Specialty Track from Chamberlain University.  Her experience includes over five years of Emergency Services preceded by experience in Neonatal Intensive Care and Labor & Delivery.

Jacqueline served in the U.S. Air Force, Security Forces, Honorary Discharge and her service included a deployment to Iraq.  She is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and holds credentials as a FMCSA National Registry Certified Medical Examiner.

She resides in the Muskegon area and enjoys activities with her family, including boating and travel.
